Don manages a number of initiatives to engage alumni across the Princeton entrepreneurial community. These include evening events, day-long conferences, and workshops that engage and connect our entrepreneurial alumni – startup founders and funders, and those across industry and the corporate landscape - with each other and with Princeton’s faculty entrepreneurs. These events are organized in the U.S. and globally.
He also manages a “flash” mentoring platform called OfficeHours that enables an alumnus to search for and schedule time with an advisor who has deep skills and experiences in a particular area to discuss and help resolve a specific startup challenge. Don consults regularly with alumni and faculty entrepreneurs on their go-to-market and funding strategies.
Don began his career in product management and marketing at IBM and then founded several technology-based companies during his career. He advises venture capital funds and angel networks, and he continues today to invest in and advise great founders.
He holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
Outside of work, Don is an avid golfer and skier. He also sits on several non-profit boards. He and his wife live in northern NJ near their three children and six grandchildren.
