Siemens announces winners of FutureMakers Challenge at Princeton University
Princeton, NJ-- Siemens Corporate Technology (CT) is pleased to announce the winning team of the FutureMakers Challenge 2018 held at Princeton University on April 27-28.
Zecheng He and Guangyuan Hu were awarded a six-month research sponsorship by Siemens CT to bring to life their innovation, “Deep learning based zero-day controller-hijacking attack detection in power-grid systems.” Zecheng He and Guangyuan Hu are PhD students advised by Professor Ruby B. Lee of the Electrical Engineering Department at Princeton.
Siemens CT US is hosting a series of R&D challenges at six universities to bolster its innovation pipeline. Dedicated to developing the next-generation workforce, Siemens will invest nearly $1 million in winning ideas arising from the brightest, most innovative minds on campuses across the country. The FutureMakers Challenge at Princeton was hosted by the Center for Information Technology Policy and organized in collaboration with the Office of Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations.
