The Office of the Dean for Research invites proposals by March 1 for collaborative research projects through the Princeton Alliance for Collaborative Research and Innovation (PACRI).

PACRI provides innovation funds to support research projects co-led by principal investigators from Princeton and from a PACRI partner institution. The PACRI partner institutions are Howard University, Jackson State University (JSU), Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), Spelman College and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES).

Proposals from all four academic divisions — the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities and engineering — are eligible and encouraged.

Each project will receive funding from Princeton University for two years, up to a maximum of $250,000 per project.

This is the second call for proposals under the PACRI initiative. The first projects funded through PACRI are taking up some of the most difficult challenges of our day, from cybersecurity to climate change to public health and the social safety net.
