Find research funding. Build external collaborations. CEFR website reimagined to better assist you.

“Princeton University welcomes partnerships with industry, foundations, nonprofits, and government to accelerate research, scholarship and innovation.”
Supporting the development of research partnerships is the guiding purpose of the Office of Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations. And CEFR’s new website, now located at partnerships.princeton.edu, is full of resources and information to catalyze those collaborations.
We’re Here to Help: Find the Right CEFR Team Member to Assist You
The most important CEFR resource available to you is our team.
CEFR’s six engagement specialists work with faculty, staff and external partners to create and foster research relationships. Engagement specialists are assigned to University departments, institutes, and centers based on their expertise. Use this filtering tool to connect with the right engagement specialist for your unit. (External partners can use the same tool to search by a collaboration topic.)
As you explore the site, you will also see the friendly faces and contact information for CEFR team members who support particular CEFR projects and resources.
We encourage you to reach out to all members of the CEFR team. We’re here to help you as we work together to advance the University’s research mission.
Bookmark These Resources for Research Funding Support
The Research Funding section of the new CEFR website provides information to guide your search for funding and support. Among the highlighted resources are several maintained by CEFR and specific to the Princeton University community:
- The Princeton Research Funding Gateway can help you find funding for faculty-led research. This portal is a one-stop shop of curated opportunities from internal Princeton sources, corporations, foundations, nonprofit organizations, and government.
- Funding Opportunities to Your InBox: CEFR produces a twice-monthly email digest highlighting timely opportunities featured in the Gateway. Sign up here!
- Research with Princeton is a public database of Princeton faculty profiles in the STEM and policy fields, research outputs, academic units, and scientific core facilities. This round-up of information, designed to help external partners identify potential Princeton collaborators, has been very useful to the University community as well.
Representing University Efforts from Across Campus
The CEFR website also features other information, gathered from across campus to inform external partners, that can be useful to the University community.
- The CEFR site continues to spotlight the University’s core research facilities that are available for sharing with external researchers, as well as Princeton's corporate affiliates programs that welcome industry participation.
- New to the site are highlights of eight research initiatives that may be of particular interest to external partners, as well as partnership stories to illustrate the breadth and depth of Princeton’s research relationships.
We continue to explore and develop new ways the CEFR website can assist Princeton faculty and staff and external collaborators. Please contact Tracy Meyer with comments or ideas for the ever-evolving site.
