What is the Industry Contracting Initiative?

The Industry Contracting Initiative is a collaborative effort between Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations (CEFR) and the Office of Research and Project Administration (ORPA) in the Office of the Dean for Research aimed to optimize the management of research-related agreements with industry partners while simultaneously strengthening the underlying relationships.

The ICI’s goal is to employ operational approaches specific to industry engagements and funding to effectively solicit, negotiate and manage these research-related agreements with industry partners.

Strategic Research Partnership Specialists in CEFR serve as the liaison between industry and Princeton researchers. The Specialists are engaged in specific research topics or academic units. To find your specialist, click here.

ORPA supports CEFR during initial discussions to develop a contractual framework and serves as the lead on contract negotiations with the industry partner.
